Learn to use the Sugar ASR module with this tutorial.

1. Power the Sugar Automatic Speech Recognition module

Method 1

Use the Kittenbot lithium battery to power your module. (If you are using lithium batteries of other brands, please pay attention to the positive and negative of the battery.)

Method 2

Use a battery holder for 2 dry cells to power the module. Please also pay attention to the positive and negative or else it may burn out.

When successfully powered, the module will broadcast: "Kittenbot speech recognition version 1.5."

2. Wake the module

Wake the Sugar ASR module with one of the 3 commands below:

"Hey, Sugar."

''Hello, Kittenbot."

"Hello, kitty."

3. Control the module to execute simple commands

"Red light on."

"Green light on."

"Yellow light on."

"Light off."
